Video repair questions
Can a corrupted video file be fixed?
Often, yes. Most videos from phones, action cameras, drones and dashcams that won’t play after an interruption still contain their video and audio; what is missing is the index players need. FrameRescue rebuilds that index. Footage that was never written, overwritten or deleted cannot be recreated.
Do I need a healthy reference file?
No. If you have a short clip recorded with the same device and settings, include it: it improves the chances. Otherwise FrameRescue uses its own structural analysis and compatible profiles.
When do I pay, and how much?
Only after a repaired file is ready: one download costs €5.00 through Stripe’s secure checkout. If no repair is ready, there is nothing to pay. A valid promotion code makes the download free.
Do I need to create an account or install software?
No. Everything happens in the browser, on a computer or a phone.
Can I pause a large upload?
Yes. Uploads are resumable: if the connection drops or you pause, the upload continues from where it stopped.
Can FrameRescue recover deleted videos?
